Will my phone work with a Voyaro eSIM?
You need a phone that is (1) eSIM-compatible and (2) carrier-unlocked. Most iPhones from XR/XS onward, and recent Samsung Galaxy, Google Pixel, and many other models support eSIM. To check: on iPhone, go to Settings → General → About and look for an "Available SIM" or EID; on Android, search Settings for "eSIM" or "SIM manager". If in doubt, message us on WhatsApp before buying and we'll confirm.
How do I receive and install it?
After payment, your eSIM QR code and step-by-step instructions arrive on your order page (if you bought on the website) or on WhatsApp — usually within minutes. You scan the QR from your phone's SIM settings and the eSIM installs. No physical SIM, no shipping.
When does my plan start counting?
Most plans begin on your first network connection in the destination — not when you buy — so you can set it up before you travel. A few plans start on installation (noted on the plan). eSIMs generally must be installed within about 180 days of purchase.
What do the plan types mean?
Truly Unlimited has no throttle — full speed for the whole trip, with no daily cap. Unlimited (Fair-Use) never runs out: you get a full-speed allowance each day, then a reduced speed until it resets the next day. Limited is a fixed amount of data to use across the whole validity period. Pick Truly Unlimited or Fair-Use for steady day-to-day use, Limited for lighter or occasional use.
How do I pay?
Payment is by UPI, on the website or on WhatsApp: scan the UPI QR (or tap to open your UPI app), pay, and send the screenshot or the UPI transaction ID. Prices on this site are in INR, inclusive of applicable taxes.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, before your eSIM QR is issued you can cancel for a full refund. Once the QR is delivered it's generally non-refundable, but if it doesn't work due to a fault on our or the network's side, we'll replace it or refund you. Full details on our Refund & Cancellation page.
Can I top up or extend my plan?
Most plans are reloadable — you can add more days or data within the validity period. Just message us on WhatsApp and we'll sort it.
Will it work at sea?
An eSIM works wherever there's mobile network coverage — that means in port and coastal waters, not in the middle of the ocean. For seafarers, it's ideal for staying connected the moment you're near shore or on shore leave.
Do I keep my own number?
Yes. A Voyaro eSIM is data-only and runs alongside your primary SIM, so you keep your regular number. WhatsApp, email, and apps work over the eSIM data — great for avoiding roaming charges.
